AI for game art: test 10 art directions in one day

Atlas takes one reference asset and reimagines it across ten distinct art styles in parallel — same composition, ten different looks, so you can pick a direction before committing to it.

Five stages, one asset to ten styles

01A ruined fantasy stone monument used as the source reference for the style test

Image ingestion

Upload a source image — a prop, a character, an environment piece.

02

Visual analysis

A vision model reads the subject, composition and structure of the reference image.

03

Art direction

A master LLM acts as art director, turning that read into 10 specialized prompts across 10 distinct visual styles.

04

Prompt splitting

Lightweight parser nodes isolate each of the 10 style prompts from the master list.

05The same stone monument reimagined across ten art styles, from photorealistic to cel-shaded anime to 16-bit pixel art

Parallel generation

Each prompt feeds a multimodal node alongside the original image, reimagining the asset in its style while preserving the core composition.

Common questions

What does this workflow output?
Ten reimagined image variations of your reference asset — for example photorealistic AAA, hand-painted cartoon, cel-shaded anime, retro PS1 low-poly, 16-bit isometric pixel art, dark fantasy, cyberpunk neon, claymation, oil painting and graphic novel.
How long does it take?
30 to 60 seconds total when run start to finish: 5–10 seconds for vision and LLM steps, 15–40 seconds for the ten image generations running in parallel. Cached nodes return instantly if nothing upstream changed.
Can I control the art style?
Completely — edit the art director’s system message to name any exact styles, games, artists or lighting schemes, override any individual style prompt directly, or adjust guidance scale, resolution and seed per image.
What do I get the files as?
Standard image files, ready to drop into a mood board, a pitch deck, or back into Atlas as reference for a follow-on 3D pass.
