Game design document to concept art and poster

Atlas reads a Game Design Document — its text and its embedded reference art — and generates three matched visual assets: wide concept art, a title cover, and a full poster, all locked to the same world.

Four stages, GDD to visual set

01A Game Design Document PDF uploaded to the Atlas canvas, open to its cover page

Extraction

Atlas pulls the lore, mechanics and visual-style text from the document, plus the reference images embedded inside it.

02Atlas canvas nodes extracting descriptive text and reference images from the uploaded document

Art direction

Three prompts are synthesized from the document’s own visual language: one for the concept art, one for the title cover, one for the poster.

03A wide establishing concept render of a glowing crystal cavern, generated from the document’s extracted references

Reference matching

The most relevant extracted images are matched to the title cover and poster, and the full set feeds the concept art, so everything traces back to art already in your document.

04A finished box-art style poster titled "Echoes of Lumora," showing a character and a creature in a glowing cave

Generation

Three assets are rendered: a wide establishing concept image, a cinematic title cover, and a portrait poster with title treatment.

Common questions

What does this workflow output?
Three assets: general concept art, a title cover with your game’s title rendered in, and a portrait poster — all at high resolution.
How long does it take?
45 to 90 seconds when all three branches run in parallel: 5–15 seconds to parse the document’s text and images, 3–6 seconds for prompt writing and reference retrieval, and 30–60 seconds for the three renders. Regenerating a single image afterwards takes 20–35 seconds, since everything upstream is cached.
Can I control the art style?
Yes — Atlas extracts palette, rendering style and visual motifs straight from your GDD and its embedded art, and you can add style notes on top.
What do I get the files as?
Standard image files, ready to drop into a pitch deck, store page or marketing kit.
